    *From 2006, Paediatrics at the Sydney Children's Hospital is available between mid January and mid October each year
    **Emergency at Liverpool Hospital is available during the months of October to January each year
    #Surgery placements at the Prince of Wales Clinical School are available between 30 October and the following 15 January each year
    ## No placements available between November and February each year
    ###No placements between 20 December and 20 January each year

    Successful applicants may attend clinics, ward rounds and with permission, record the history and perform physical examinations of patients in the wards. If the clerkship is during term time, lectures and tutorials in the clinical school may also be available.
