Australian Rotary Foundation Presentation

Successful grant recipients, Dr Nickolai Titov & Professor Gavin Andrews, and Professor Valsamma Eapen, were presented with plaques by Mr Phil Lacey, Director of the Australian Rotary Foundation, in a small ceremony on 22 April.

The Australian Rotary Foundation currently provides these grants for research in the School of Psychiatry. Professor Eapen is based at Liverpool Hospital and is looking into health promotion and a preventative lifestyle intervention program for young people with mental illness. Dr Titov and Professor Andrews are based at St Vincent’s Hospital and are researching internet based treatments for common mental disorders including anxiety and depression.
