Honorary Fellowship awarded to one of the Faculty's leading teachers
Professor Rakesh Kumar has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Nominated for his role as Professor of Pathology at UNSW, Professor Kumar was formally admitted during the College’s Admission of New Fellows and Awards Ceremony held in Sydney on Saturday 14 March 2009.
Professor Kumar has also contributed to the College and the Board of Censors over a number of years, as well as co-authoring grant applications for Government funding. The College considers that the teaching of pathology at UNSW is exemplary and a credit to Professor Kumar's work.
The Faculty congratulates Professor Kumar on receiving this distinguished award.
