- Rural Students' Entry Scheme (RSES) - A scheme for students with a significant rural background - phone (02) 9385 3250 for details or see the website. A proportion of the places offered under this scheme will be in the categories of Medical Rural Bonded Scholarships and Bonded Medical Places. Students who wish to apply through the Rural Students' Entry Scheme are required to submit an online Registration of Interest Form and then complete a RSES 2009 Application Form available from the website address above.
Please note: to be eligible for the RSES, applicants must have lived in a rural area for at least five years consecutively or cumulatively since the commencement of primary school. A rural area is defined as RRMA 3-7 (Rural, Remote, Metropolitan Areas classification system). For more information on the classification system, please see the RRMA website.
The Faculty of Medicine does not have any special admission scheme for the admission of mature age students.
