Postgraduate Research Students Re-enrolment

Re-enrolment is vital for both the university and the student.

Any student who is not re-enrolled for a continuing candidature will be denied access to university services, facilities and affiliated schools, centres, institues and laboratories. Another consequence of not being continuously enrolled throughout one's candidature is that you will not be covered by UNSW's indemnity policy.

The University has appropriate insurance cover whereby you, the student and the University are indemnified in the event of a student, during the course of the activity, becoming legally liable for injury, to any person, or damage to property caused by their negligent act, directly or indirectly related to the activity [other than property damage arising from the use of a registered, or registerable motor vehicle.]

The University has Liability Insurance in excess of $10 Million for any one claim in the event of such an occurrence.

As an enrolled student of the University of New South Wales, the student is covered by Student Accident Insurance, while participating in any Campus related activity including work experience, field assignment, or placement.
Postgarduate research students do not have access to re-enrolments via myUNSW - you will need to download a form from the Graduate Research School's site to complete and submit to your School.

Information you will need to complete your form is attached below.
