MedShow - tickets now on sale
Venue: Science Theatre, UNSW
Date|Time: Thursday 8th October & Friday 9th October | Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start
As many of you may be aware due to the excessive absences of late, the undergraduate medical students are putting together their annual production, "MedShow 2009: Dial M for Myocardium"
MedShow, which runs over two nights, is the all-singing, all-acting, all-dancing extravaganza which stars, features and was produced entirely by medical students. While their singing and dancing abilities might not match their over-scaled UAIs, and their acting not half as good as it was in their entrance interview, the night is sure to be enjoyed by all.
All proceeds from the show go towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia, supporting and helping to raise awareness of a disease that often flies under the radar.
Tickets are only $12 and can be bought online at http://medshow.org.au/.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Medshow2009 Producers
Pramudie Gunaratne, Ran Liu and Patricia Ly

Looking for expertise - can you help?
We are looking into running non radioactive in-situ hybridization experiments on frozen/paraffin embedded colon tissues. Given the vast array of kits and products out there we are struggling to decide on the "best one'. If you have some recent experience in this field and willing to share it with us, please let us know.
We do not need to be trained from scratch as we did use this technique previously (5-6 years ago) in a radioactive set up.
Contact: If you can assist please contact Irit markus - , School of Medical Sciences
