Functions

• Administration of research degrees
• Action on all matters relating to the candidature of higher degree by research students other than those matters for which approval has been delegated by Council to the Registrar on the recommendation of a Dean or a Head of School (or their nominees), provided that the action taken and the broad decisions made shall at all times be in accordance with the policy laid down by the Academic Board or by the Faculty.
• Act according to the authority delegated by the Faculty Board and outlined in “Operating Procedures of the Faculty of Medicine Higher Degree Committee”
