Changing your Unipass

A UniPass is a unique password that enables you to access UNSW IT resources. Full information about obtaining and changing your UniPass can be found at the Online Services & Support Homepage. You should change your UniPass periodically to minimise the risk of unauthorised access to your work or private documents such as email.

If you know your current UniPass, you can change it by visiting the following web page:

https://wombos.unsw.edu.au/cgi-diy/changeunipasspin.pl

Your username is your student number with a 'z' prefix - eg. z1234567 or your staff number with a 's' prefix - eg. s1234567. Enter your current UniPass and then follow the instructions on the webpage.

If you have forgotten your current UniPass, you can get a new one by:

  • Visiting the IT Service Desk in the library tower on the main UNSW Kensington campus, in person with suitable photo ID; or
  • Contacting the IT Service Desk via phone - (02) 9385 1333 or (02) 9385 1777.
