International Students - Fees for Postgraduate Research Degrees


Below are the Fee Bands which have been set for our research programs in 2009 and 2010. The fees shown are for a full time annual study load of 48 units of credit (UOC). Tuition fees are charged on a semester basis at the rate of the current year of enrolment irrespective of when studies are commenced.

Commonwealth Supported Places


A Commonwealth supported place is a higher education place for which the Commonwealth makes a contribution towards the cost of the student's education. The Masters, Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Public Health, International Public Health or Health Management are nominated Commonwealth Support programs. Local students enrolled in these programs may be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place. The approximate Student Contribution Rate (SCR) for 2010 if the deferred payment option is selected is as follows ,
Band 2 courses: $158 per unit of credit (uoc) ie $948 for a 6 uoc course
Band 3 courses: $185 per unit of credit (uoc) ie $1110 for a 6 uoc course.

Students wishing to pay their Student Contribution upfront (per semester) may be eligible for a 20% discount.
