We seek to contribute to the ongoing efforts, both within Australia and internationally, to promote health, prevent disease and ensure that health care is made available through the organised efforts of society.

Our teaching and research aims to develop expertise, reduce unfair and unjust inequalities and improve access and participation in services and decision making. We seek to ensure that policies are informed by the best available evidence. Our teaching is strongly influenced by our research and our research informs our teaching.
