Staff
The museum operates with a staff of 3 employees, as well as many volunteers and the contributions of associated academic staff.
Volunteers
A large part of the success of our programs is due to our wonderful group of committed volunteers who help in all aspects in the running of the Museum. Their efforts are greatly appeciated by Museum staff as well as the teachers and students who always comment on their friendly nature and willingness to assist.
Just prior to 2001, a special plaque was erected in the Museum acknowledging 5 years of continuous service by 15 of the Museum’s long serving volunteers.
In the latter part of 2001, the "Year of the Volunteer", the appreciation of their work was reinforced by invitation to a special UNSW ceremony to honour and thank all volunteers at UNSW. | |

| Volunteer lunches, attended by the Head of School of Medical Sciences, continue to be organised twice a year as a small thank you for their invaluable efforts. |
