Immunohistochemistry



HMU routinely performs immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue and fresh frozen tissue sections.
Researchers wishing to use this service, should contact HMU staff to discuss their staining requirements.
Primary and secondary antibodies are usually supplied by the researcher.
Immunohistochemistry staining is either automated (Leica Bond X Immunostainer or Dako Autostainer) or performed manually by our experienced staff.

  • Peroxidase-Blocking Reagent
  • EnVision™/HRP
  • DAB+ Chromogen, Substrate Buffer
  • Target Retrieval Solution, pH 9 & pH 6
