This profile series reviews and analyses the health management and leadership capacity issues that affect the performance of district health managers in six AusAID priority countries – Cambodia, Fiji, Lao PDR, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste. The first six chapters of each report provide descriptions of the health system of the country and the final four chapters attempt to assess the management and leadership capacity.
